-Explosion bursts
into music scene
with debut album

_ _ __ ~- Darrin McGillis has given
the go ahead for the release of "Que no se
detenga," the teeny-bopper pop group
Explosion's debut album.
McGillis, who recently created the
group, is very enthusiastic about their
future. He says the three youths, Joel
Laureano. a former member of Concepto
Juvenil; Caleb Aviles, former Euphoria
member; and Josue Carrion, former
member of Cinco, have privileged voices
and a vast amount of talent.
Explosion will project a clean-cut adl>-
lescent image free of eccentric behavior.
Among the songs included in Expll>-
sian's first album are: "Que no se de-
tenga," taped in English and in Spanish
versions, "Embrujo Tropical," which
McGillis describes as tropical reggae,
and HCuentame Amor," a romantic
ballad.
