RE: Immediate Assistance for the 2011 Sanggunian General Elections

The Ateneo Commission on Elections requests for immediate assistance from the Loyola
Schools student body for the upcoming 2011 Sanggunian General Elections on February
17 and 18. The Ateneo Commission on Elections is in urgent need of poll officers to man the
poll stations located in Faura Driveway, Gonzaga Atrium, SEC-A Walkway, and CTC-SOM
Walkway.

Any student is eligible in becoming a poll officer for the 2011 Sanggunian General Elections
as long as the following conditions are met:
• Not a current candidate of the elections
• Not a member or affiliated with any party or coalition
• Not part of the current Sanggunian, elected or appointed positions

Interested students must go to MVP 010 (Ops Room) in order to be trained and oriented for
the event. After this brief session, one may sign-up for their respective election shifts. Please
take note and be punctual in your shift as a number of votes may be jeopardized by
unmanned poll stations.

Poll stations open by 0900 hours (9AM) and close by 1700 hours (5PM).

For OAA scholars, manning the poll stations is recognized by the OAA as a service for the
school and therefore the amount of time rendered in manning the poll station immediately
equates as scholar hours.
