• 21 class classification scheme
• Processing of navigation data:
– Spatial adjustments
– Processing according to GSE Land mapping guide
• Adoption of a hybrid automated/visual interpretation 
classification procedure
– Automatic labelling of polygons
– Visual interpretation/verification
• Automatic integration of soil sealing layer to characterise 
urban fabric classes
