Subject: Petition for your kind consideration to review the resolution on my case.

Dear Sir/Madam,

Though receiving a denial letter of “Notice of Ineligibility For Resettlement “dated

Nov.24, 2009 with the check marked on ‘Admissibility’ after the final rejection of our
claim for resettlement into United States of America, I know that it’s not the usual way to
write further appeal letter. I, however, would like to write one more time this appeal letter
with great hope and request your kind consideration on the decision made to our claim.
When seeing the check marked on ‘ADMISSIBILITY’, I think that the adjudicating
officer has confusion on the below statements; otherwise, I think that it can be also
because the misinterpretation of interpreter as well.
1) The adjudicating officer may think us as having connection with CNA since we
had allowed them to take rest in our house and eat. Thus, he may deny our claim.
If its so, here I would like to give explanations honestly that when the strangers
arrived to our house, I did not know them that they belong to CNA. I merely
welcome them and fed them according to our Chin tradition. I just come to know
that my stranger’s guests are from a group of CNA after our VCC had told me.
Therefore, I would like to let you know that neither we are not apart of CNA nor
have connection with them.
2) Secondly, the adjudicating officer may think us as the supporter of terrorist, so he
may deny our claim. If it’s the reason why our claim was denial I would like to
give you clarification. As I mentioned above, I did not know that the strangers are
belonged to CNA. I just welcome them as laymen. I become to know that the
strangers are CNA after they went out and, our VCC had informed us. Not only
that CNA is actually not apart of terrorist group, but the group which fight for the
betterment of our country in order to restore peace and a genuine democracy in
Burma. So we are not the supporter of terrorist arm group.
Therefore, I would like to request you kindly to look back into my case seriously and to
reconsider the decision made on our claim based on your humanitarian ground, so that
our claim may not be denial.
Thank you,

Sui Ciang
