The IMSP Mathematics Division is celebrating the 2011 Mathematics Consciousness Week

(MCW 2011) on February 22-25, 2011 with theme “ALGEBRA KADABRA: Discovering the
Magic and Wonders of Algebra”. There will be several activities (such as exhibits, lectures
and seminars, quiz contests, talent search, games and sports) that would showcase the
beauty and importance of algebra as a field of mathematics, its relevance in the sciences
and the arts, as well as its practical applications.
