• Over 23 years experience in the field of water treatment industry.

• Major work experience (more than 15 years) in Ion Exchange India Ltd., a
renowned Company in the field of water treatment in India.

• Was trained at US Filter-Permutit and US Filter-Polymetrics in 1995 in connection

with the technologies such as Reverse Osmosis, Condensate Polishing and other
related technologies purchased by Ion Exchange (I) Ltd.

• Was trained at Romicon BV at Holland and Germany in 1991 in Ultra-filtration

technology.

• Experience in water treatment industry in Project Engineering, erection,

commissioning, troubleshooting, design and engineering, Computerization, ISO
9000 aspects.

Project related experience

Was involved in the design, project engineering and successful completion of

projects for pharmaceutical industries such as Lupin Laboratories, Yash
Pharmaceuticals in India.

Was involved in the design, project engineering and successful completion of

projects for National Fertilisers Limited, Guna and Faridabad Thermal Power
Station, Faridabad, Haryana in the field of Demineralisation Plant, Condensate
Polishing & Pre-treatment of Water as well as Chlorination of Effluent Water.

Was involved in project engineering and successful completion of projects

involving Reverse Osmosis/ DM plants for various medium scale Automobile
Industries, Iron & Steel Mills, Textile Mills, Hotels in the capacity of Project
Manager/Engineer.

Exposure to Quality Assurance Systems

• Was the Head of Design Engineering Dept, in Ion Exchange (I) Ltd having an
annual
sales turnover of over Rs. 100 crores when the Division received ISO 9001
(1994)
certificate in February 1998.
• For the above, was involved in the effort in terms of creating awareness,
formulating
the Quality Policy, effectively conducting the Management Review meetings as
the
internal auditor, participating in pre-assessment and certification audits, and in
effective follow up and proper implementation.

number of training sessions.
