Starting the Application:
□ Run CtlgHelp application
□ Press “Enter” twice
The application is now enabled and will run
continuously.
Note: At some point, it may need to be restarted.

Solve x2 + 5x+ 6 = 0
□ Run PlySmlt2 application
□ Select “Poly Root Finder” from Main Menu
□ Enter degree (highest exponent) of equation,
choose options for solutions and press “Next”
(“Graph” button)
□ Enter coefficients as shown (note the polynomial
should be arranged in standard form)
□ Select “Solve” (by pressing the “Graph” button)
□ To enter a new polynomial, select “Coefs”
□ To quit, select “Main” and then “Quit”

Using the Application:
□ Move the cursor to a command and press “+”
□ At this point, type in the values required and
press “Enter” when finished
□ Press “Paste” to put the command on the Home
screen
□ Press “Esc” to return to the list of functions
PolySmlt has two purposes – finding roosts of polynomial
equations and solving simultaneous equations!

□ Enter the number of equations, and variables,
choose solution options and press “Next”

□ Enter coefficients as shown (note the system
should be arranged in an augmented matrix)
□ Select “Solve” (by pressing the “Graph” button)
□ To enter a new system, select “Sysm”
□ To quit, select “Main” and then “Quit”
