    I pine away for him


    Like Penelope for Odysseus...
    And when I am not near him,
    I imagine that I am,
    I imagine that we get lost in my sea of lyrics
    And I feel us combine as one...
    He and I,
    I and him,
    The intimacy that connects
    This writer to her words,
    The words that drown out
    So many sorrows
    And created so many joys,
    The words that have pierced many hearts
    And inspired many others
    Like Moses with his people
    Or Celine Dion to the world...
    It is I who live for him;
    The Essence of writing...
