Technology has been booming. Ever since Y2K Information Technology has gained its momentum, it has become a
part of business. Information Technology is all about management of computer systems, administration of
applications and software, internet and web 2.0

I have had a successful career as an English lecturer preparing students to appear entrance exams. In one year of
my career I have taken about 2000+ hours of lectures in English. Recently I got married and had to shift my base
from Pune to Ahmedabad in India. They are two different states. I tried joining a new job in Ahmedabad, however
couldn¶t get the satisfaction I was expecting. I discussed this with my husband who is a born technology expert. He is
an evangelist of IT technology and Social Media marketing. After a series of discussions that I had with my husband,
he asked me to give him two weeks time. I was not sure what my husband was up to. I had pretty much decided that I
will give up my career which is my life.

In two weeks time, IT saved my Life. My husband quickly built up a website, a dynamic blog website which he then
hosted live. He asked me to share my skill sets on internet through this website. Campus Freshers is the name which
is now very much popular among graduate students in India. http://campusfreshers.com , is the website I am talking
about. Initially he taught me how to write blogs and tutorials on the website. I found out to be as simple as it is to write
a document using Microsoft Word. I started writing my blogs related to students career, job preparation, preparing for
interview, resume writing and tips, English for professional verbal and written communication. For first four weeks I
was not sure whether this is really an efficient platform for educational interaction, however later my husband shared
few statistics as in screenshot below. This was something that completely changed the equations. I am receiving
700+ students visiting my blogs on daily basis across India. This is truly a technology innovation that saved my life.
My life is full of zeal to build my career in teaching and I could see it getting accomplished though Campus Freshers.

There¶s lot more I have planned for Campus Freshers using technology. I see the power of technology that is building
my dreams. Students are now on daily basis interacting with me through comments and blogs. They seek advice
regarding job openings, interview HR questions, English verbal and written skills and tips for preparing for their
interviews. This is truly an innovation. Through blogs which is a latest technology of communication I am now
achieving my dreams!
