About Curriculum Information Document Online System (CIDOS)

Curriculum Information Document Online System is a fully automated document management

solution that manages the uploading, updating and sharing of digital information/ digital content
into one whole integrated component. It provides the medium for interaction between users
including BPK staffs, Polytechnics and Community Colleges lecturers and students. It also
provides the interface for storing, evaluation, authorization and sharing of digital
content/information.

Curriculum Information Document Online System is an electronic document management system,

which enables users (BPK staffs, lecturers or students) to access information stored in the
database. BPK staffs and lecturers could store content/information by uploading onto the
application. Student who registered with the system could view and download the content for later
use.

Minimum system requirements

Before using CIDOS, ensure that you meet the following hardware and software requirements.

Operating System

• Support both Windows and Unix

• Internet Explorer 6.0 and above

Hardware Requirements

i. Client:
• Pentium II
• 64MB RAM
• 5GB hard disk free space
• Support 1024x768 display resolution

ii. Server:
• Linux
• Dual Xeon 2.4GHz
• 2GB Memory

Software Requirements

i. Client:
• Pentium II
• 64MB RAM
• 5GB hard disk free space
• Support 1024x768 display resolution

• PHP 5
• MySQL 5.0 & above
• Apache HTTP Server
