Bluetooth Internet Tethering

Step by Step Guide by ant.7ran
Tested with OSX 10.6.2 and Blackberry 8520.

• Run the Set Up Bluetooth wizard from your Blackberry and connect it to your Mac.

• On your Blackberry go to Options > Bluetooth > “Your Mac” > Device Properties.
• Set the Trusted option to Yes.

• On your Mac go to System Preferences > Network

• Create a New Service.

• Choose Bluetooth DUN from the Interface drop down list. Name it anything relevant.
Click on Create.
• You should now see this window

• Click on Advanced...
• Chose following options from the drop down list:
Input the relevant data for the required fields:
APN
Account Name
Password
DNS

A Telephone Number is not required.
