REFLECTION 2

First and foremost, thousands of thanks to my lecturer, especially to Madam

Periakka a/p Renggaya Chinaya, my best teamwork, Hajar Sakinah bt Yahya that
helped a lot and gave useful advices for me to work on with this Educational Philosophy
coursework.
To finish this assignment was not an easy job. However, after discussing about
this assignment and searching the relevant information from variety sources about the
topic of “National Philosophy of Education and Philosophy of Teacher Education” with
Hajar sakinah, I finally get the clearer picture about it. Even though, I need to spend a
lot of my time in the library and in front of my laptop due to the shortage of information,
but it has taught me to put hard effort to gain something better. Time management is
very important. Thus, it is depend to our self on how we dividing our time wisely to put
our responsibility on study and other commitments as a tertiary level student.

Besides that, deeper understanding that I gained from this assignment help me
to be more conscious on nation’s aspiration towards education. I had learnt about
NPE’s goals, which one of it is to provide the necessary curriculum with particular areas
of knowledge, skills and attitude. It is important for us as educators to have well
understanding in this area so that we will be more aware about our responsibilities
towards our education system. Learning all these things had affected me spiritually as I
feel more wholehearted in my profession. At this time, I realised that I need to improve
some of my weaknesses, tried to maintain the strength and never gave up on anything
to be a good future teacher.

Last but not least, all the experiences learning this area again taught me to apply
some of other applications, such as the human holistic developments (physically,
emotionally, spiritually and intellectually.) They prepared me to have well-manner
attitude and smart thinking skills as a role model to produce excellent students. I
realised that there are still many other applications of science and technology that I
actually need to practise.
