To Whom It May Concern:

This letter is in reftrence to Michelle Kemp, a pre-service teachsr in the SI.TNY Plattsburgh field
experience program with whom I had the fortune of working with. I am the College Field Supervisor
for the Tri-Lakes Region in New York State, and had the privilege of working with Micheile this past
fall semester. It was a pleasure to have been associated with Michelle in this capacrty.

There are numy qualities that Michelle possesses, which will allow her to become a wonderful teacher.
Her creativity and enthusiasm are contagious. Students respond to her teaching style in an energetic way.
lhe has a passion for teaching, which helps to create a classroom environment that is both exciting and
interesting. Micheile has leamed a great deal from her pre-service teaching experience. She r*"kt
adviee, and applies constructive pedagogical suggestions without hesitation. She is readily accepted as a
caring, competent, instructional leader by her students, and professional colleagues. Her academic
preparation is strong, and her depth of understanding of subject mafier exemplary. Her ability to think
quickly and her keen wit are attributes that serve her well in establishing rapporrwith children.

It has been rewarding to have been a part of Michelle's pre-service teaching experience. She wiil be an asset
