Rohit’s exhibition reflections

March 9 2011

15 march 2011

We managed to get two interviews from two amazing people in one

week and we seem pretty confident about what I and my group are
doing. We have gone to the cafeteria to take some pictures and most of
the pictures were like wasting food frenzy. We are currently still trying
to accomplish finding out what our survey results will be but in the
meantime we still want to find out what the older and younger
generation think about this hectic subject. We would really appreciate
it if everyone tries to help us and make wasting food rare.

My group made a last minute decision to change our info graphic to a

prezi PowerPoint, well we have been doing fine but we are still hanging
by the edge of falling down a big cliff so we made a decision so that
Michael would do the prezi on Friday me on Saturday and Kris and c on
Sunday so that we work harder and we all have a chance to participate.
And I have got a few words for my group: do not give up hope we will
make it if we strive and persevere.

It is over? Well my two exhibition days were pretty fun and I am sure
that we taught people something new about this amazing subject. It
first really started off when my mom told me her perspective on how
my presentation was and how I could do it better so for the next day I
tried my best to work on it and it actually worked so I really wanted to
thank my mom for the help and support she has given me for this mad
exhibition period. Great! It was also a problem that we were having a
lack of crowd because our room was right at the end of the level so that
really bothered us.

I learned from other people’s presentations and new techniques I

could use for presenting so if I look into the future I can really see this
as a big part of my learning life. I can grow from this experience
because I am sure we did well in our exhibition (in what way
specifically?) and I have a feeling that this kind of crazy thing will
happen again in our lives so I just want to say that this is just a mile out
if another hundred of them. So if you guys think that this is hard you
better buck up!

This was a very worthwhile experience because I am very

undoubtedly sure that this has helped me in multiple tasks such as it
has helped me a little bit in my speaking and confidence but it has also
helped me in looking towards the audience the most.
Rohit, I’m glad that the presentation helped you improve your public speaking,
something you are already quite good at. But how did it help you in terms of
researching an issue, organizing your time, understanding that in order to see the
big picture we have to look at things from multiple perspectives? Tell me more
about your thinking.
