Dear Team Parents/Guardians,

The eighth grade teams’ end-of-year picnic will be Monday, June 13, 2011. We will be
spending the entire day at Sunset Beach Park in Claysville, PA (which is approximately
10 miles west of Washington, PA). The cost of the trip will be $15.00 per student and
will cover the following:
• Transportation to and from the park. *Please note that we will leave
school at 8:00 AM and return at 4:00 PM. Transportation home from school
after the event is the responsibility of the parent/guardian.
• All-you-can-eat hot dogs, hamburgers, grilled onions, potato salad, baked
beans, watermelon, and condiments.
• Use of all park facilities including the largest private pool in western PA,
which is equipped with a waterslide.
• Games such as volleyball, Marco Polo, basketball, Ultimate Frisbee, flag
football and softball (students must bring their own equipment for softball)

Please complete the form below with the appropriate information and have your child
return it, along with his/her payment, to school no later than Wednesday, May 25,
2011. Permission slips and money must be turned in to their homeroom teachers by
this deadline to attend.

Checks must be made out to North Hills Junior High, for $15.00

*Students are reminded that inappropriate behavior during school that warrants an
office referral may result in their ineligibility to participate in the event. Any
student unable to participate will be expected to attend the regular school day and
complete assignments issued by the classroom teachers.

be picked up at the Jr. High School at 4:00 PM promptly. I recognize that
transportation for my child is my responsibility.
