Sri Siddheswarananda Bharathi Swamy Literary Works Described
1. Ambica Sahasri: Swamyji praised Sri Raja Rajeswari in the name of Amara Trisathi. 300 verses one in this in the name of
Andhra Saptasathi 700 Telugu poems are there. The innumerable miracles of Sri Jillelamudi Amma were described beautifully.
2. Siva Sahasri: This book was written for the spiritual growth of the devotees which consists of 300 Sanskrit slokas in the name
of Amara Trisathi and 700 telugu poems in the name of Andhra Saptasathi. He clearly explained sivatathwa in detail. This
became a guide for many sadhakas. This main principle is to bring about the secrets of Higher planes. “Indra Swara Bhadra
Sutras” of Sri Kavya Kantha Ganapathi Muni are also incorporated in this book.
3. Aindri Sahasri: Swamiji adored Chinna Masta one of the Siddha Vidyas of Dasa Maha Vidyalu. Prachanda Chandi of Dasa
Maha vidyas has many names like Aindri, Indrani, Sachi, Chandi, Vyzra Vyrochini and Vajravathi. This deity is also
worshipped as Chinna Masta. As it happened to be an ornament of Virocha Rochana it is also called as VyzraVimaya. The
deity is terrific to look at with a detached head in her hands, three blood streams are seen coming out of the neck as fountains
of which one in drunk by Varuni, other by Dhakini and the third and the middle by herself. The mere thought of this deity itself
is highly terrifying. The yogic secrets behind this form are explained as Ida, Pingala and Sushumna i.e., Dhakini, Varnini and
Chinna Masta respectively. Swamiji said that he wrote this by going through Indrani Saptasathi, Prachanda Chandi and
Trisathi of Kavya Khanta Ganapathi Muni. Many paths of devotion and upasanas are explained here.
4. Rasa Vahini: It reflects not only devotion and love but also swamiji’s various mental vibrations and poetic values.
5. Rasa Ganga: It is a Khanda Kavya which appears the poetic nectar, divine feelings, devotion humanity, leteral beauty, the
desire for universal welfare of swamiji. This comprises waves like Devi Lahari, Yatra Lahari, Siddha Lahari, Tatvika Lahari,
Muktaka Lahari and Sahithi Lahari. This arouses devotion among the readers.
6. Radha Lahari: Sri Siddheswarananda Bharathi adored Radha Devi the Goddess of Love. He praised the deity in Sanskrit and
Telugu through this book. This was printed in 2003 by Swayam Siddha Kali Peetham in the name of Radha Lahari. There are
12 parts in this and they are:
• Kavithaswadhati
• Rasa Devi
• Jaya Geethika
• Raseswari
• Brindavana yatra
• Lahari in 4 parts
• Avatharanamu
• Radha Krupa Katakshamala
• Geethavali
• Astotra Sathanama stuthi in this he explained his relationship with Raseswari.
7. Gandharva Geethi: Swamy wrote this keeping the noble ideas and philosophy of Umarkhayam in view. There are 2 parts. First
part consists of deep philosophical aspects. Different mental vibrations which a poet generally experiences are clearly
reflected in this. As he is a traditional poet it astonished many to see him writing verses in Mantra Chandas. The poems are
not against traditional poetry. They are not mere translations of Umar Khayam’s Rubayats. He explained the secrets of yoga
for behind the ideas of Umar Khayam.
8. Ananda Yogini: The entire creation is a divine play as mentioned by swamiji. To make the youth understand that there is a
metaphysical world swami wrote their “Ananda Yogini”. The hero of this is Ananda. Ananda is in a Sadhana path. A yogini is a
kind of instrument in this path. She may be considered as his love. Outwardly the hero in Ananda yogi but guiding power of
inner consciousness in Ananda yogini. So he named this book as ‘Ananda Yogini’.
9. Soundarya Lahari: Soundarya Lahari written by Adi Shankaracharya is unique of its kind and where in the Universal Mother is
beautifully described. This was translated by many. But the translation of swamiji excelled all others. His translation looks like
as his own performance rather than that of translation.

them. The Mantra Deity is only in the form of a great light as described in
Adharvana Veda. The deity is also described to have a lion’s head. The
mythological descriptions of this Devi from Sanskrit Bhagavatha and Kannada

is protector. There are many ways and means for adoring each and every diety.
This is a great secret world. It promotes happy and healthy living.

formation of Bhuvana Vijaya as said by Swamiji. SRI Krishna Devaraya the
emporer of, Vijayanagara named his royal court as ‘Bhuvana Vijayam’. There
used to be 8 great poets, Sri Allasani Peddana, Nandi Timmana, Bhattu Murthy
etc who were called Asta diggajas. In addition to introducing Asta diggajas,
Swamiji referrred many of their prominent poems.
20. Jagadguru Sankaracharya: Swami Sri Sankaracharya was a great prophet
chosen by the Divine and sent to this earth for the upliftment of the society.
Sankaracharya was not a man but an Institution. The preachings of
Sankaracharya are everlasting. The one who moves all around the world
propagating Dharma alone can be called as Jagadguru. An ordinary sannyasi
can do his sadhanas at one place for his individual upliftment but a jagadguru
should move all over for Dharmapracharam as said by Sankaracharya.
21. Sanskruthi (culture): Swamiji wrote this book for explaining Indian culture and
Andhra culture. His ideas are clearly reflected in it. Great people are born in
every country and race. Their personality is the root cause of culture. The life
style of great people of India itself is Indian Culture. They are the true
representatives of Truth, Character, Non-Voilence etc. Lord Rama, Dharmaraja,
Sivaji were the real moulders of Indian Culture. “Unity in Diversity is the reality of
Indian heart from KanyaKumari to Kashmir”. The Andhras have their own culture
and customs which are at the top, eversince Satha Karni’s period. The Sasanas
made by previous rulers show how much freedom an Andhra Lady enjoyed. This
book is good guide for all of us. Those who are against this are traitors to our
culture.

Sahithya parishad, about Rana Pratapa Simha written by Dharbaka Rajasekhara

must be known to understand this book. Rana Pratap fought for freedom all
through his life and gave priority to Duty than Victory. The lives of such people
alone guide the people and pave a path.
23. Vasista Bharathi: Swamiji was greatly inspired and influenced by Sri Kavya
Kantha Vasista Ganapathi Muni. Bhagavan Sri Ramana Maharshi of

depths after Independence against the expectations of many in the country.
Swamiji felt that this is the need of the hour to improve this condition. Swamiji is
not only a literate but also a true patriot.

Siva. Once all the Gods and seers asked Vedas to let them be known who the
highest God is. Vedas told the Siva alone is the highest. But Brahma differed with
this heckling at Siva. Then Rudra the ferocious form of Siva cut off one of the 5
heads of Brahma. As a result of this Brahma Hatya he turned to be Bhairava.
27. Naga Sadhana: Serpents are being worshiped as Gods in all religions. There are
six occult centers in the spinal chord of human being. They are called
Shatchakras. They are also known as 6 yogic centers. At the base center
(Muladhara) Kundalini Sakthi is seen coiled in the form of Serpent. If it is
awakened by yogic Sadhana all the six centers will be activated. With this
Sadhaka gets Yoga Siddhi. Serpent powers can be utilized for both benific and
Malfic purposes with the help of Naga Manthra, the serpent bites deadly fevers
and skin diseases can be cured and also infected. Many details about Naga
Sadhana were given in this book.

Sastri and Chellapilla Venkata Sastri happened to be co-students at Sri Cherla

influence in those days many couple-poets came of such couple-poets

Ramadugu RamaKrishna Kavi and Potharaju Rama Kavi. The couple got much
fame and name in their Avadhanas and unique AsuKavitha. They are highly
honoured all over Andhra for their poetic talents. On the request of Andhra

problems. They may be regarding marriages, health, children, job, finance etc.
Swamiji showed many solutions for all these problems through different Manthras
for each problem. The methods given are very easy to perform.
30. Dyvee Sakthi: Human birth is possible only with Divine Grace. But very few with
human values are loved by the God. Sri Radha Mahalakshmi is one Such about
whom Swamiji wrote the history. She enjoyed fully the eternal love of Radha
Krishna. Swamiji has close associations with many Siddhas. He himself is of the
same category.
31. Ramani Priya Doothika: Swamiji is also an expert in writing Novels along with
poetry and prose. A poet penetrates through all the aspects and create a
wonderful New World. Like that Sri Dr Kulapathi thought that some justice should
be done to the dejected lover Varoodhini in her later births. In view of this he
wished to reveal some secrets. This result of his thought itself is the Novel
“Ramani Priya Doothika” where in Pravara is Allasani Peddana and Varoodhini is
Ramani. The Divine Mother herself became priya doothika and served them.
32. Vande Matharam: The translation of ‘The Story of Song’ as ‘Vande Matharam’ by

of Tikkana the ‘Kavi Brahma’ in the form of a drama. The title ‘Kavi Brahma’ is
suited to Tikkana alone in Telugu literature. Telugu people can be proud of Sri

Sri  Siddheswarananda  Bharathi  Swamy  Drama  Works  Described

35. Kavya Kantha Roopakam: Swamiji wrote the biography of the ideal and sacred
seer Sri Kavya Kantha Ganapathi Muni in this drama. This book is the best
example for his devotion. Ganapathi Muni belongs to Vasista Clan. So he was
named as Vasista Ganapathi Muni. There are 7 chapters in this drama. The
National pundit parishad of ‘Hari Sabha’ in Nava Dweepa bestowed the title
“Kavya Kantha” on Ganapathi Muni. So the name ‘Kavya Kantha’ is best suited to
the drama.
