Introduction

Dokeos 1.5 is a web based Learning Management System. Managers, teachers and
trainers use it to structure and manage courses, classes and groups online. Students,
trainees, team members use it to learn and collaborate.

Dokeos is web based. You can access it through any browser (Explorer, Netscape, Mozilla,
Safari...) like a webmail account. Some features, like the web page editor, will not work
on some browsers (Netscape 4.5 and Safari, noticeably).

This tutorial is addressed to the teacher, trainer. It will help him/her step by step create
a course and manage it.

Registration
On some Dokeos campuses, self-registration is deactivated. In this case, you are
registered by the administration of your organisation and recieve your username and
password from it in your email box.

If you need to self-register, proceed as following:

1. Open browser > Type campus URL > Click on Registration

2. Type personal data and select Status : Create course areas

 type your true email as you will recieve registration conformation + course
announcements through this channel
 password and username should contain no space neither accented letters or single
quote. d'Urfé / Françoise should become durfe / francoise
 password is case sensitive : Francoise ¹ francoise
