Could you please do me a favor that you recommend any member of Marcel Loos’s

Course which is suitable for the position of General Accountant in our ELI. We need this
position urgently.

Salary/Compensation Package: Confidential but very competitive in the industry.


Annual leave- 20 days and sick leave -10 days per year.
Working hours: 40 hours per week.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Typical Duties and Responsibilities:

This position fulfills multiple functions of accounting and human resource


administration

* Essential tasks for accounting:


- Assist the Chief Accountant in managing the accounting system of the ELI
- Ensure all accounting & financial transactions are recorded and reported timely and
accurately
- Maintain accurate accounting books
- Ensure the accuracy and sufficiency of the legal documents related to accounting
- Prepare draft monthly financial reports and tax declarations to government authorities.
- Ensure all financial reporting deadlines are met.
- Establish and monitor the implementation and maintenance of accounting control
procedures.
- Resolve accounting discrepancies and irregularities.
- Develop and maintain financial data bases.
- Other financial tasks as may be needed from time to time.

* Essential tasks for HR matters:


- Ensure smooth day to day HR operations.
- Consult with staff about matters relating to company policies and labor issues.
- Undertake research on HR issues.
- Other HR matters as may be needed from time to time.

Reporting Relationships: This position reports to the Chief Accountant

SELECTION CRITERIA:
- At least two years progressive experience in General Accounting, and is already
capable of preparing financial statements and reports required in Vietnam.
- Bachelor in Accounting/Finance and/or in Business Law.
- Thorough knowledge and understanding of Vietnamese Tax regulations and Labor
Code
- Excellent written and spoken English
- Experience of working with accounting software, Microsoft Excel & Word
- High degree of accuracy, dependability, organization, and personal presentation
- Ability to function effectively and cooperatively in a team environment
- Ability to work flexible hours as may be needed and required.
- Integrity and honour in handling all financial and human resource tasks with
absolute confidentiality and discretion.
