ON THE DEATH OF OSAMA

The death of Osama Bin Laden has been in news for more than five years. The phot
ographs showing injured Osama shown on TV and Newspaper were challenged to be po
st-dated of the year 2009 and therefore were subsequently withdrawn.
The operation which was carried out by American army causing Osama death in Paki
stan has also been reported in different versions, of the manner he was shot dow
n. Even America has contradicted the details of operation killing him. The dead
body was taken into custody by commandoes and flown to USA. The post-mortem repo
rt, if at all it was conducted, has also not been made public. Nor the cleric, w
ho witnessed the performance of the last rites, has been presented to Press/TV e
tc.
The picture of the dead body stated to have been thrown into the sea is also not
being available for public eye.
The statements of US President Obama that the pictures will further inflame the
feelings of his followers in far from convincing the world. If America is ready
to wipe-off the residual terroristsâ organisations, the fear of onslaught by Al-Qaed
a and other parallel organisations is beyond comprehension. The concealment of p
hotograph will create greater doubts in the mind of his lovers in view of the ch
anging versions of the American administration frequently.
