F2 2.3 DIR Nos 2.3.1 Subscriber DIR Enter First equipment No. 32 This entry gives the starting no for sub lines
ALC in slot no.5 for which starting no. is 32
Total Ports press 16 Each line card has 16 lines
Enter 16 if only one card is used
Starting Dir No press 20 The sub no. shall start from 20 onwards
i.e 1st line 20, 2nd 21,3rd 22 & so on for 16 lines
2.3.2 Operator Dir Operator 1 press 9 this shall be the no. used for operator
i.e console in Day service
2.4 Prefix code 2.4.17 N/w Access code press 0 this code is used for accessing E & M trunks
e.g. Dial 030 for accessing exchange no. 30
2.6 Trunk setting 2.6.1 Trunk ckt setting starting No press 224 The first trunk has equipment no. of 224 when
E & M card is inserted in slot no. 13.
End No press 255 The last trunk eq.no. when second E & M card
inserted in slot no. 14 for sigma Indx 150
F4 4.24 N/W configs 4.24.4 Start digit of ID 1 press starting digit of local no. If local station no. is 30 press starting digit 3

4.24.5 Length of Ex ID 1 press 2 As 2 digit exchange no. is used for local

exchange e.g. if exchange no. is 30
4.24.6 Start digit of ID 2 Press starting digit of local no. this is for providing another station ID also for
local exchange. If not reqd put digit of ID1.

Enter Group No. e.g group no 1, it can be between 0 to 31

Enter DT no. e.g. 224 for 1st trunk when E & M is in slot 13
