This is an overview of the MRCP(UK) examination – and
the new Specialty Certificate Examinations (SCEs) that
were introduced in 2008. These examinations are
developed and quality assured by the Federation of
Royal Colleges of Physicians of the United Kingdom.
Around the world, they are seen as the ‘gold standard’
among postgraduate qualifications for physicians.
