Minor Chords

By now you need to have memorized the 12 major chords. It will make things much easier
for you.

Now, we just need to learn the 12 minor chords.

Play each chord with the right hand, the left hand, then both hands.

Don’t play too low or too high. Stay around the middle of the keyboard.

Minor chords use 3 piano keys, so when you play with both hands, you’ll use 6 piano keys.

The chords that use a black key as the lowest note each have two names.

For example, C#m or Dbm means, “C-sharp minor or D-flat minor is the same chord.”

Minor chords are indicated by a lowercase “m”

Do your best to memorize these chords as quickly as possible
