ADASA ELECTIONS-2011
I have tried my best to handle the responsibility and faith entrusted to me by your
Association to conduct the elections of one of the organized association “ADASA” in a free
and fair manner, without falling out to any pressure. The elections were held under the
supervision of the Presiding Officers nominated at various units, throughout India and the
counting of ballots were held in presence of the candidates and their representatives
including general members at HPT, AIR, Malad, Mumbai which went for a marathon 16
hours. It was also ensured by all present that everything is in order and tallied with the
ballots dispatched etc. I am of the opinion that the process of elections in ADASA is the
most democratic and needs to be commended in particular so far as any other association
of AIR/DD is concerned.
I would also like to place on record my sincere thanks to all the Presiding Officers,
throughout India who have ensured the elections to be free and fair. I also thank all my
colleagues in HPT, Malad, Mumbai who helped me in this endeavor. Particularly the team
of ADASA, Maharashtra & Goa Zone, also deserve special mention, who have worked day
and night to ensure the future of ADASA continues. Last but not the least, I take this
opportunity to congratulate all those candidates who have contested and won these
elections to continue the good work of the association and repose the faith of the members
entrusted to them. My sincere wishes to all those who contested but could not win, I feel
that they have more responsibility, as it is their motto to work for their members, which will
never fade off, even if they loose. Continue to build and help your association to achieve
your set goal and work for the overall interests of all the employees especially those who are
neglected….”LEADERSHIP THROUGH WELFARE”
