I graduated from the Registered Nursing Program at Suffolk County Community Coll
ege and I am a licensed registered nurse. I also have a Masters in Exercise Phys
iology from Adelphi University where my thesis was completed and published in th
e Journal of Medicine and Science in Sport and Exercise. I have over 10 years ex
perience in exercise physiology, cardiac rehabilitation, ECG testing and analysi
s, physical therapy and personal training.
Through my clinical rotations, I have had the opportunity to work in several set
tings, including med/surg, peds, labor and delivery, critical care, psych and th
e ER. My experiences enabled me to develop strong skills that have prepared me w
ell for the challenges of nursing. I am confident that I will continue to develo
p as a nurse, particularly as I provide care to a diverse patient population.
In addition to my nursing skills, I have also participated in community service
as well. I was an asthma program teacher at the Long Island Head Start and a nur
sing club volunteer at Suffolk County Community College.
I am very eager and able to adapt to your nursing culture. I believe that my ski
