Gaza Strip - Land Crossing Activities

Crossing Status Weekly Report

May 22ed to May 26th, 2011

General
Overall, 1,248 truckloads (34,012 tons) were unloaded at the crossings.
Heavy-duty diesel for the power plant is delivered directly from Egypt according to
the Palestinians decision; therefore, no diesel is transferred from Israel.

Erez
29% increases in the number of people that crossed through the Erez crossing

279 international organization staff members entered Israel.

145 international organization staff members entered the Gaza Strip.
434 patients and accompanying individuals crossed into Israel and the West Bank.

Imports
6% decrease in the number of truckloads delivered into the Gaza Strip

1,247 truckloads (34,012 tons) were imported to the Gaza Strip.

No heavy-duty diesel was transferred for the power plant.
826 tons of cooking gas was transferred.

Exports
One truckload of flowers was exported from the Gaza Strip this week.
* The export season of agriculture produce is about to end.
