There are a number of barcode types available depending on the symbology used. Each can be classified under the 3 main categories: 1. Linear (11- Single dimensional) Barcode 2. Matrix (2D —Two dimensional) Barcode 3. Circular Barcode, Barcode Zone supports few of the linear barcodes which are listed below. Code 39 (Regular/Full ASCII) Code39 is a symbology that is widely used in industrial bar cade applications. It is discrete, self-checking, variable length symbology that can be printed readily by a variety of technologies. Every character has five bars and four spaces; three of the elements in any given character are wide, and six are narrow. Every symbol starts and ends wit a unique start/stop character. It is commonly used for certain shipping labels, primarily as defined by the Uniform Code Council in their UCC-128 shipping container bar coding standard. Code 128 supports three character sets and they can be summarized as follows: 1, Code 128 A - The Full ASCII set, except for the 26 lower case letters, 2. Code 128 B - The Full ASCII set, except for the 26 "control" characters, 3. Code 128 C - Double-density numeric.
