Writing
Spelling/Word-study Copy and learn the weekly list for your group. In your book write 1. The dictionary meaning for 5 words 2. Synonyms for another 5 words. Use a thesaurus to find as many as you can. On the computer use Microsoft word = Tools / Language / Thesaurus

We are learning to show not tell. In class this week we have been writing a narrative / short story. As discussed it helps to write on topics you have had some experience in. 1. Use the planning sheet from last week to begin your short story. 2. Aim to draft and revise at least your 1st paragraph.
