Statement: How does Napoleon use Snowball to make himself look better?

Napoleon originally chases Snowball out of the Animal Farm on the accusation that Snowball was a heretic and agent to Jones. After he and his dogs chase Snowball from the farm, Napoleon convinces the animals that Snowball had been the mastermind and commander of the human forces, as well as the conspirator of the attack. The animals were skeptical before, but Napoleon offered up alleged documents that were supposedly from Snowballs notes, stating his allegiance with Jones. Ironically, the animals cannot read well, and choose to accept Napoleons claims as fact. From that point on, whenever something on the farm went wrong, such as the destruction of the windmill, Napoleon and the other animals blamed it on Snowball. Now, how one pig can destroy a large building singlehandedly is questionable at best, the animals instantly agree, following the supposed evidence of pig tracks in the field. Napoleon is probably blaming it on Snowball for a few reasons, the first of which is to inspire the animals against his enemy. Another piece of evidence would be that pointing the finger to Snowball makes Napoleon himself look better and raises moral in the animals, as opposed to a storm, which would make both Napoleon look bad and the animals lose heart in their abilities. Napoleon is really just making the animals believe in a fantasy, so that whenever something goes wrong, it is blamed on Snowball, instead of the leadership of Napoleon. While the majority of the argument is against Napoleon, there is evidence that supports him as well. For example, Snowball could have been a heretic, as was suggested by Napoleon, and he could have been fighting for humanity instead of the animals.
