    ARL Participant I was born in Honolulu, HI. I moved to Vancouver, WA when I was 9 and Las Vegas, NV when I was 13. I graduated from Clark High Schools Academy for Mathematics, Science, and Applied Technology with honors in 2001. I then graduated from the University of Nevada, Reno with a Bachelors of Science in Biology. I decided to pursue a career in Radiology, so I earned a Certificate in Radiological Sciences from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas. I found the most rewarding part of the radiology program was teaching newbies. Thats when I reevaluated my career choice and decided to become a teacher through the Alternative Route to Licensure (ARL) program.
