A PRAYER FOR DIVINE MERCY

AN ACT OF CONSECRATION TO MARY

O Greatly Merciful God, Infinite Goodness, today for all mankind calls out from the abyss of its misery to Your mercy to Your compassion, O God; and it is with its mighty voice of misery that it cries out. Gracious God, do not reject the prayer of this Earths exiles! O Lord, Goodness beyond our understanding, Who are acquainted with our misery through and through, and know that by our own power we cannot ascend to You, we implore You; Anticipate us with your grace and keep on increasing Your mercy in us, that we may faithfully do Your holy will all through our life and at deaths hour. Let the omnipotence of Your mercy shield us from the darts of our salvations enemies. that we may with confidence, as Your children await Your final coming that day known to You alone. And we expect to obtain everything promised us by Jesus in spite of all our wretchedness. For Jesus is our Hope: Through His merciful Heart as through an open gate we pass through to heaven....Amen.

Mary, Mother of Jesus and Mother of Mercy, since Jesus from the Cross gave you to me, I take you as my own. And since Jesus gave me to you, take me as your own, Make me docile like Jesus on the Cross, obedient to the Father, trusting in humility and in love. Mary, my Mother, in imitation of the Father, who gave His Son to you, I too give my all to you; to you I entrust all that I am, all that I have and all that I do, Help me to surrender ever more fully to the Spirit. Lead me deeper into the Mystery of the Cross, the Cenable and the fullness of Church. As you formed the heart of Jesus by the Spirit, form my heart to be the throne of Jesus in his glorious coming.Amen

O Jesus, who filled Your servant, Saint Faustina, with profound veneration for Your boundless Mercy, deign, if it be Your holy will, to grant me, through her intercession, the grace for which I fervently pray My sins render me unworthy of Your Mercy, but be mindful of Saint Faustinas spirit of sacrifice and self denial, and reward her virtue by granting the petition which, with childlike confidence, I present to You through her intercession..Amen
