Procedure

Jiffy popping method:

Read the direction for the method. Start the hot place and set it in mid level temperature. Put the Jiffy kernel container on the hot place. Start moving the kernel pan when you hear the popping sound in a circular, left to right and up and down direction.

Make sure the container touches the hot place when moving in different direction. Take off the container from the burner when popping sound slows down. Put the container on the aluminum pan. Let it cool down for a minute. Then with a plastic fork, open the container and pour all the popcorns and unwrapped kernels.

Then count all the popped and unwrapped kernels and calculate efficiency. Record the data.

Air pop method:

Read the direction. Gather all the materials Pour cup of kernels in the machine.

Cover the machine with the cover. Turn on the machine. Turn off the machine when popping sounds stop. Remove the cover and pour the popcorn into the bowl. Finally, count the popped and unwrapped kernels and calculate efficiency.

Microwave popcorn method:

Read the direction. Put the bag of kernels in the microwave. Make sure to face the bag the way direction tells to do so. Turn on the microwave and set for maximum 3 minutes. If you see, the bag has expanded enough before that stop the microwave. Open the bag and pour all the popcorn into the bowl. Count popped and unwrapped kernels and calculate efficiency.
