    Kin Hey, what you need to do is go into the properties menu, select materials and modify the properties of the 1020 steel. At the bottom you will see lamination type, select laminated inplane and you can set the lamination width to say 0. Mm and the fill factor to 0. (98%). Make sure that your windings are also stranded, go into the copper materials pro perties and select strand i.e. Magnet wire, I ve used a strand diameter of 2.

    of the 1020 steel; at the bottom you will see lamination type, select laminated inplane and you can set the lamination width to say 0.5 mm and the fill factor to 0.98 (98%). Make sure that your windings are also stranded, go into the copper materials pro perties and select stranded i.e. magnet wire, I ve used a strand diameter of 2.55 mm. Measure the voltages and let me know what you re getting per phase, I can then com pare with my model. Regards Steve
