A Popular Fiber Technique Translates Beautifully to Wire! If you can coil wire you can weave with it! Once around one wire, cross over and once around the next, it's as easy as that! Check out the projects inside, you'll see you can do a lot of weaving on your piece, or just a touch. But however much you do, it’s sure to make your design pop! Woven sections of wire create a fabric of texture unlike any other kind of wirework. I highly recommend oxidizing your weaving, as it really makes that texture stand out. One tip: don’t work with too long a piece as it's easy to kink it. It’s best to work with a couple feet and then cut a new piece. Don’t ‘worry, itll blend right in.
