To whom it may concern: The T-Town Ballerz, an Amateur Athletic Union Basketball Club, is a non-profit organization committed to the goals of providing excellent coaching and building the highest level of life skills for local student-athletes. We are assisting players, who have the ambition of playing basketball now and in the future, along with preparing them for college and their lives as working-adults. Our organization consists of over 70 young boys, from Trenton, Hamilton, and the surrounding Mercer County area. Our goal with sponsorship is to help subsidize the cost of uniforms, transportation, tournaments, etc. Most of our student-athletes come from single parent homes with minimal income for extracurricular activities such as AAU. Just the cost of the tournaments we have planned for the teams will cost $4000 per team. Not including the two teams that participated in the AAU National Tournament in Hampton, VA, where expenses rose in excess of $3000 for each team. We cannot meet the expense of these costs independently and therefore are requesting donations and/or sponsorship from your business. Here is a breakdown of costs associated with managing an organization of this magnitude: 8 Tournaments during AAU season (Feb-Jul) AAU Insurance (individual) AAU Insurance (team) Uniforms Gymnasium Fees Equipment Fees (balls, cones, medical supplies, etc) $4000 ($400 per child at 10 players per team) $15 per child $300 per year $100 per child $65 per hour per day $400 per season

So as you can see, the costs involved in administrating this type of organization require funding that we just cannot provide ourselves. We are petitioning your organization to donate what you can to help support the local youth of Mercer County. We appreciate any assistance you can provide and we thank you in advance for your consideration.

Sincerely,

Gregory Richards
