principals Message
Dear Parents, Guardians and Students, My tenure as the Principal of this college began with the establishment of the college. Since then I have been looking forward with both anticipation and excitement at what the future will bring. Over the past 13 years, we have been innovating and developing around our core goal of providing opportunity to all our students to develop the knowledge and skills that enable them to take their rightful place in higher education. In the course of retrospection from this vantage point, it gives me pleasure to assert that almost all the summiteers hitherto have grown intellectually, culturally, aesthetically and spiritually. This strengthens our commitment towards imparting quality education. Having worked for many years in the field of specific teaching and learning as a teacher, a teacher trainer and an educational entrepreneur, Im aware that supporting students effectively requires an appreciation of their personal needs and aspirations. At New Summit, we believe that all the students entrusted to our care have multiple talents concealed in them. Our endeavor has always been to nurture them individually so as to realize their potential beyond conventional academic success. We aim to positively influence their lives in such a way that they will always remember the experience of being Summiteers. Beyond all, with firm commitment to organizational values and goals, and a willingness to focus collective efforts solely on helping the institution to achieve its objectives, I, as the founder principal of New Summit College, proudly announce that New Summit College and Kathmandu Model College (KMC) Educational Network have mutually agreed upon beginning their educational partnership. From now onwards, New Summit will function under the umbrella of KMC Educational Network, like many other independent institutions, without losing its individual identity. It is not a matter of buying or selling an institution; nor is it like merging one institution to another. It is a matter of going along for the betterment of all the institutions involved, with collective efforts in academic and administrative fields with an intention to set up our identity in the global scenario. lekhnath ghimire

i believe that once summiteers, always summiteers. that is something i realized while i was studying in new Summit. and im still a part of this college. at the college, i was extended substantial support by the college and professional teachers and helpful administration guided me to reach my goals. i am thankful to the college administration and teachers. indeed i received more than i could imagine from the college only because of best environment, qualified faculties and caring administration. aakash lohia HSEB 2nd Topper 2066. (Science)
to begin with, this college is not the best in nepal but it is the best you can bargain for, with plenty of infrastructures and the quality education for such a small fee. i would like to present myself as a proud summiteer who has become fascinated to the name new Summit itself. with the cozy environment and the friendly teachers it became my second home. i cant force you to become a part of this institution, but if you do, then after two years when youll pass from this very college, youll look back and say wow, i did too. ashish karmacharya HSEB 3rd Topper 2066 (Science)
new Summit college, in my opinion, needs no introduction. more than an institution, it is a culture in itself. i have been closely observing the trajectory of its development for last many years. as the principal of a high school, it is always one of my prime concerns to look for good colleges for my pass-outs. i am convinced that new Summit college is one of those rare sites where i can confidently recommend my students for admission. new Summit has been able to instill in its students the sense that mere accumulation of scores does not lead to the development of a whole person. Simultaneously with academic performance, inculcation of human understanding and positive attitude in an individual is indispensable to a meaningful living. thus, the nSc has successfully translated in action at strength and experience of its highly reliable faculties. i hope the products of this college shall continuously uphold its glorious history and culture.
