Bread Basket is the newest bakery and caf in town which was officially launched by our well-known celebrity chef, Dato Redzuawan Ismail (better known as Chef Wan) and prominent celebrities, models and some Malaysias rising stars From a humble beginning in March 2010, Bread Basket Sdn Bhd was established. We expect to catch the interest of a regular loyal customer base with our broad variety of freshly baked breads and pastries products.

It expects to catch the interest of a regular loyal customer base with its broad variety of breads and pastries products. The company plans to build a strong market position in town, due to the partners' industry experience and mild competitive climate in the area. Bread Basket aims to offer its high quality products at a competitive price to meet the demand of the middle-to higher-income local and expatriate market area, in residences and offices

The bakery industry in the Malaysia has recently experienced rapid growth. Bread Basket wants to establish a large regular customer base, and will therefore concentrate its business and marketing on expatriates and local residents which will be the dominant target market. This will establish a healthy, consistent revenue base to ensure stability of the business. In addition, Offices traffic is expected to comprise approximately 80% of the revenues. High visibility and competitive products and service are critical to capture this segment of the market.

During the opening of Bread Basket flagship in Bangsar South, Chef Wan, the Malaysias top model Amber Chia, Iz (an upcoming star from a reality show, One in a Million Season 2), Anis Nabila from Asian Food Channel and Jules from Fly FM as the host of the night joined in for a fund raising course together with the orphans from Rumah Ilham (Yayasan Anak-Anak Yatim Pinggir Taman Tun Dr. Ismail) and from Rumah Anak Yatim Baitul Izzah and baked a fantastic array of pastries which were auctioned to the guests.

The event was fun-filled by charity event where the children from the orphanage home were baking together with celebrities and the bread/pastries were auctioned to our guests. All proceeds will be donated to the children orphanage homes and 50% of Bread Basket sales of the day will also be donated to charity.
