FACULTY OF ARTS Translation Applicants shall have obtained good grades in IB Chinese and English, and at least one of these subjects should be at Higher Level.

FACULTY OF BUSINESS ADMINISTRATION Integrated Bachelor of Business Administration Programme Applicants shall have obtained good grades in one IB Mathematics subject. Global Business Studies Applicants shall have obtained good grades in one IB Mathematics subject. BBA - JD Applicants shall have obtained good grades in one IB Mathematics subject. Hotel and Tourism Management Applicants shall have obtained good grades in one IB Mathematics subject. Insurance, Financial & Actuarial Analysis / Quantitative Finance Applicants shall have obtained good grades in IB Mathematical Methods at Standard Level or Mathematics at Higher Level. International Business and Chinese Enterprise Applicants shall have obtained good grades in one IB Mathematics subject. Professional Accountancy Applicants shall have obtained good grades in one IB Mathematics subject. Quantitative Finance and Risk Management Science Applicants shall have obtained good grades in IB Mathematical Methods at Standard Level or Mathematics at Higher Level, and IB Physics or Chemistry or Biology or Economics at either Higher Level or Standard Level.

FACULTY OF EDUCATION B.A. (Chinese Literature and Literature) and B.Ed. (Chinese Language Education) Applicants shall have obtained good grades in IB Chinese (Language A1) and English, and at least one of these subjects should be at Higher Level. B.A. (English Studies) and B.Ed. (English Language Education) Applicants shall have obtained good grades in IB English at Higher Level. Liberal Studies Applicants shall have obtained good grades in IB Chinese and English, and at least one of these subjects should be at Higher Level.

FACULTY OF ENGINEERING Applicants shall have obtained good grades in IB Physics and Mathematics at Higher Level.

-2FACULTY OF LAW Applicants shall have obtained good grades in IB English at Higher Level (A1, A2 or B); or good grades in IB English at Standard Level (A1 or A2 only).

FACULTY OF MEDICINE Medicine (Compulsory Requirement) Applicants shall have obtained good grades in 3 IB subjects at Higher Level, which should include Chemistry. (For further information on IB requirements to the Medicine programme, please refer to http://www.med.cuhk.edu.hk/v7/s15_05.htm) Public Health Applicants shall have obtained good grades in IB Biology at either Higher Level or Standard Level and one IB Mathematics subject.

FACUTLY OF SCIENCE Chemistry Applicants shall have obtained good grades in IB Chemistry and Physics at Higher Level, and in IB Biology or Mathematics or Mathematical Studies at either Higher Level or Standard Level. Chinese Medicine Applicants shall have obtained good grades in 2 IB science subjects at Higher Level, which should include Biology. Life Sciences Applicants shall have obtained good grades in IB Biology and Chemistry at Higher Level, and in IB Physics or Mathematics or Mathematical Studies at Higher Level or Standard Level. Mathematics Applicants shall have obtained good grades in IB Mathematics at Higher Level, and in IB Physics or Chemistry or Biology or Economics at Higher Level. Physics Applicants shall have obtained good grades in IB Mathematics and Physics at Higher Level. Risk Management Science Applicants shall have obtained good grades in IB Mathematical Methods at Standard Level or Mathematics at Higher Level, and in IB Physics or Chemistry or Biology or Economics at either Higher Level or Standard Level. Statistics Applicants shall have obtained good grades in IB Mathematics at Higher Level, and in IB Physics or Economics at Higher Level. Mathematics and Information Engineering Applicants shall have obtained good grades in IB Mathematics at Higher Level, Physics, Chinese and English.

FACULTY OF SOCIAL SCIENCE Architectural Studies / Economics / Psychology Applicants shall have obtained good grades in Mathematics in HKCEE or equivalent examination.
