Our records show that you are not licensed to practice public accounting in this state. The California Accountancy Act (Sections 5050, 5051, 5055, 5056, 5058, and 5121 of the California Business and Professions Code) and Section 2 of the California Code of Regulations, Title 16, provides that no person may engage in the practice of public accountancy, nor hold oneself out as a Public Accountant or Certified Public Accountant in California unless licensed by this Board. We request that you cease such activities immediately. Please inform this office, in writing, within the next fifteen (15) days of the action(s) being taken by you to correct this situation. Failure to hear from you within this time will cause this matter to be referred to the Department of Consumer Affairs Division of Investigation for further action.
