I extend my heartiest greetings and best wishes to you all and my young
students of this Polytechnic on the eve of the 41st Engineers’ Day. I ardently feel
to pay my heartfelt tributes to the Bharatha Ratna Sir Mokshagundam
Visveswarayya in whose divine memory we are celebrating this engineers’ day
every year. The real tribute to the great person is only when we keep our
motherland excel by the wealth of science and technology. The sudden demise of
our founder Secretary & Correspondent is a great blow to all of us. We are quite
unfortunate in losing a real great leader Sri VVRSR garu. The entire existing
structure is the example of his contribution and vision. The constant productive
effort with a lot of dedication and commitment of Seshadri Rao garu placed our
Polytechnic in forefront and brought Gudlavalleru into much focus. The principles
of his lifestyle are exemplary and everyone of us has to design our life in line with
his ideas and ideals. “Humanism” is one and only the way to march forward
towards real success. It is hightime for all of us to pool up our energies and tune
our mindset for implementing the thoughts of Sri VVRSR and achieve all the
targets set by the great leader Sri Seshadri Rao garu. Let us all take an oath to
this effect of raising to the situation and witnessing his invisible presence in the
results achieved. My dear students, have a clear vision, properly plan your work,
deliver the designed work. Then you need not work separately for success, it will
be with you. You can and You only can fulfil this with your work and worth.

Now, I would like to present the achievements of our Polytechnic in the last year.

Yearwise/Semesterwise State Ranks:

Usually, State Ranks are announced at the end of a three year course. But
our State Board of Technical Education and Training has started announcing State
ranks at the end of Iyear/III/IV/V/VI semesters. It is a good policy to promote
high competitive spirit among the polytechnic students at every turning point
through out the 3 year course. This will help for better performance among
individual students as well as among the institutions.

In tune with the Government objective of encouragement, our Polytechnic

Management is magnanimous enough to sharpen the competitive spirit of our
students by announcing huge cash prizes to the State Rankers officially ennounced
by the Board every year. As a major policy decision the management will award
Rs.12,000/- for the State First Ranker, Rs.10,000/- for the State Second Ranker
and Rs.8,000/- for the State Third Ranker over all three years of course in every

fantastic victory in many more years to come.
