ISAAC ASIMOV LAWS OF ROBOTICS Who is Isaac Asimov? Isaac Asimov was an American author and professor of biochemistry at Boston University, best known for his works of science fiction and for his popular science books. Asimov was one of the most prolific writers of all time, having written or edited more than 500 books and an estimated 90,000 letters and postcards. He based the laws of robotics in the book of I, ROBOT. THE LAWS OF ROBOTICS 1. A robot may not harm a human being. Robots are specifically design not to harm individuals they are perfectly programmed to help mankind and make activities easier for daily living. As mechatronic, if we design a robot in the future we must assure the safety of user. 2. A robot must obey the orders given by human beings except where such orders would conflict with the first law. As stated in the explanation on the first law, robots are perfectly program and they must follow the order of user. There are instances that user orders are not followed by the robot so we must eliminated it before it can harm to human being. 3. A robot must protect its own existence as long as such protection does not interfere with the first or second law. Robots are similar to human being, they must protect themselves in such way that they would prioritize human welfare and would obey the orders of their creators.

3 Laws Unsafe is based on the premise that human-equivalent AIs and robots will one day become possible, and that Asimov's 3 Laws of Robotics are too simplistic to ensure a positive outcome. Although such laws may be superficially attractive, they fail to account for the intricate web of common sense and moral sensibilities characteristic of benevolent humans. In order to build a robot or AI that really cares about us, we will need to develop better strategies. 3 Laws Unsafe points out some flaws in the Asimov Laws model, and discusses potential improvements.
