ahhhh salters!!! i did this investigation.

i synthesised my own aspirin, then compared my actual yield with predicted yield and also compared it to two commercial brands of aspirin. i did titration, colorimetry, chromatography. the main thrust of the investigation should really be an evaluation of your method of producing the aspirin, so you can test how pure your resulting product is and also find out the yield through these techniques. and see if they all draw similar conclusions which you can draw together at the end.... if you have any specific questions, fire away....
