Water distribution method is an important for water resources and users. include all the works that receive water from the water pumping station. Water distribution system also includes pumps, main valves, and branch pipes, storage tanks, water meters and fire hydrant.

Used when the supply area has a high area to build a storage tank. Water will flow and be distributed to users in the lower area of the storage tankby gravity. Operation and maintenance cost of this system is cheaper than the pump system.

iii. The combination of pump systems and gravity systems


is the most commonly used. Excess of water will be stored in storage tanks and used at peak hour. Water savings can also be used in the event of a fire or during a power failure. At the high area, water will be supplied using a pump, while at the low areas will be supplied from storage tanks by using gravity systems.
