HOW TO SYNC YOUR IPHONE WITH YOUR UMAIL ACCOUNT

Open iPhone Settings Scroll down and select Mail, Contacts, Calendars Select Add Account Select Other Enter your U-Mail account information. Name: [Your Name] Address: [UCSBNetID]@umail.ucsb.edu Password: [Your Password] Description: U-Mail Press Save in the Top Right Corner

Scroll down to Incoming Mail Server and enter the appropriate information: Host Name: incoming.umail.ucsb.edu User Name: [Your UCSBNetID] Password: [Your Password] 8. Scroll down to Outgoing Mail Server and enter the appropriate information: Host Name: outgoing.umail.ucsb.edu User Name: [Your UCSBNetID] Password: [Your Password] 9. Scroll to the top and choose IMAP or POP

IMAP (recommended): IMAP works by sending and receiving information from the server so that your INBOX is kept up to date. Any changes that you make on your iPhone will be seen when you use the Webaccess to view your emails. POP: POP downloads all mail to your iPhone. Any messages you delete on your iPhone will not be deleted from your inbox. Similarly and folders you create on your iPhone will not be seen when you log in using Webaccess. The following steps should work with IMAP and POP 10. Your iPhone will begin Verifying IMAP/POP account information 11. Select the U-Mail account you just created

14. Congratulations! Your iPhone has now been synced with your U-Mail account.
