COURSE DESCRIPTION
This course is a comprehensive study of Philippine Literature from the beginning of Philippine History to the present. It introduces students to the development of the various literary genres of the Philippines. Through discussion and analysis of various literary genres and elements, this course seeks to enhance students awareness and appreciation of Philippine Literature.
COURSE OBJECTIVES: The course aims to develop among the students appreciation to literary pieces and respect to cultural diversities. No. Course Intended Learning Outcomes (CILOs)
At the end of the course, the students shall be able to:
Demonstrate critical thinking skills in understanding the breadth and depth of Philippine literature; Recognize the development of the literary genres of the Philippines; Enhance awareness and appreciation of Philippine literature;
