For process flow, refer Appendix 1& 2 OBJECTIVE : To outline the following procedure for Research Scholarship Scheme (a) application process (b) payment : Research Grant : RS - Research Scholarship Holder PI - Principal Investigator IPSR - Institute of Postgraduate Studies & Research DFN- Division of Finance : Guidelines on Research Scholarship Scheme DETAILS Application Process Submit the complete application form and the following supporting documents to PI. (i) One (1) certified copy of bachelor or master or PhD certificate and transcript (which ever is applicable) Submit the recommended application form to Faculty Submit the recommended application form to IPSR. Verify the application. (a) Complete proceed to 1.6 (b) Incomplete notify PI to provide the requested information, go to 1.5 Provide the requested information (go to 1.4) Issue offer letter. Approve and sign the offer letter. (a) Approved proceed to 1.8 (b) Not approved notify PI Notify applicant. Accept or reject the offer. (a) Accept proceed to 2.1 (b) Reject notify PI Payment Issue memo to DFN to issue monthly payment. Issue cheque. Research Scholarship Holder receives cheque from DFN INTERFACE Hardcopy RESPONSIBILITY RS
