n FelIgIon, we wIll read Chapter 24 on
Advent. n thIs chapter we wIll create
Advent wreaths for our classroom and
learn the meanIng of Advent. We wIll read
two 8Ible storIes. The fIrst story wIll be
on the AnnuncIatIon and the second wIll be
about |ary's cousIn ElIzabeth. We wIll
contInue to work on our good deeds trees
durIng Advent.

n |ath we wIll create shapes on a
geoboard, place objects on a graph,
IdentIfy ordInal posItIon, pay for Items
usIng pennIes, create, descrIbe and extend
shape patterns and solve oral story
problems.

n FeadIng we wIll complete our book on
TIc, Tac and Toc. We wIll begIn readIng
about our next SuperkId, FrIts. We wIll be
IdentIfyIng and wrItIng the letters Ff. We
wIll also be workIng on: blendIng sounds
to decode words, IdentIfyIng the InItIal
and fInal /f/ sound, understandIng the
meanIng of new vocabulary, IdentIfyIng
rebuses In a story, answerIng
comprehensIon questIons about a story and
followIng oral dIrectIons.

pattern usIng blocks or beads. Then ask
your chIld to extend the pattern. They
can also create theIr own patterns usIng
blocks or beads. The patterns we have
