Dr Kaplan has confirmed that, in accordance with the terms of his report and his assessment, we cannot provide a copy to you.

The University has given careful consideration to Dr Kaplan's medical opinion as to your fitness or othenruise to return to work. As you are aware, the purpose of Dr Kaplan's medical assessment of you was to ascertain whether or not you are medically fit to return to work without putting at risk the health, welfare and safety of yourself or the University's staff and students. On the basis of the information that the University has, it has formed the view that you remain unable to perform the inherent requirements of your position for the remainder of your contract.

As you are also aware, your contract of employment with the University expires on 9 September 2011. I confirm that the University does not require you to attend for work at the University, or to perform any work for the University, for the remainder of your contract.
