Check Lubricating Oil Level Check Coolant Level Check Operation of Fuel Transfer Pump Examine All Systems for Leakage Check Battery Electrolyte Level Check Specific Gravity Check Electrical Connections for Tightness, Leaks and Sulphation Check Cleanliness and Dryness Between Terminal Posts Check Governor Control Linkages Check Fan Belts and Protective devices Check all Annunciating Lamps for Malfunction Check Run Time meter and Report Hours Drain all Condensation off the Muffler Check Emergency Battery Lights

Check all Gauges and Report Check Ventilation System Check Thermostat Operation Listen for Undue Noise or Vibration Check Generator Brushes for Sparking Check for Bearing Seal Leakage Check that Transfer Switches Have Transferred

Note: Maintenance Personnel are to Wear Ear and Face Protection While in the Generator Room Spare Maintenance Material: Minimum 6 Litre Lubricating Oil; 1 Fuel Filter; 1 Air Filter; Rags; Granular Absorbant
