Administered by the Financial Aid and Awards Service In 2010-2011, more than 1500 positions were filled by students through the Work-Study Program International students: 2010-2011 Academic year: 73 Summer 2011: 41 Fall 2011: 49 (so far) The average wage is $12/hour

Work-Study Program
Students earn an average of: $3,000/year during the academic year $6,000/year for a full time position (Summer) Employers offer a flexible schedule Applying for the WSP is very easy with the Work-Study Navigator!

WS Navigator available through the uoZone portal 1. 2. 3. Student profile 12 months budget Be registered to: 1. Min.9 credits/per session at the undergraduate level (six credits per session for students with disabilities) 2. Full-time at the graduate level Valid study permit Social Insurance Number

Hiring process
The FAAS is not involved in the hiring process The employer will contact students directly A contract is signed between the student and the employer Students are paid by the employer, not by the FAAS
