Easel Calendar by Debi Wind Cards Sharks Team Designer January begins a new year and with a new

year comes a new calendar. For this project, I have chosen to create a vintage Easel card which will last all year long. Supplies: Collage Image (Moonlight Journey) Pattern Paper (Simple Stories Generation) Cinnabar Cardstock (Bazzill) Twig Cardstock (Bazzill) Jade Cardstock (Bazzill) French Vanilla Cardstock (Bazzill)

Calendar (Sky Blue Pink) Dotted Scallop Border Punch (EK Success) Pearls Brads (TPC Studio) Ribbon (Craft Store) Paper Trimmer (Tonic 12" Paper Cutter) Scissors (Tonic) Scor-it Board (Scor-it) Adhesive (Aleene's Acid Free Tacky Glue) Digital Camera (Olympus) Instructions: 1. Cut cardstock to the size of 4.25" X 11.00". Cut an addition piece of cardstock to the size of 4.25" X 5.50". 2. Score larger piece of cardstock at 2.75" and 5.50". Fold scored lines. 3. Place 4.25" X 5.50 onto surface facing down. Add adhesive to the 2.75" X 5.50" section facing up.

4. Adhere the 4.25" square to the card base as shown in side view of picture when folded. Make sure it is lined up with the 2.75" X 5.50" section. This will create the base of the card.

5. Decorate front of card by adhering pattern paper to front of card. Adhere collage image layered onto Twig, Jade, and Cinnabar cardstock and adhere pattern paper postcard to front of card. 6. Decorate inside of card with a layer of French Vanilla cardstock. To make the easel card stand up by itself, an extra layer to the inside of the card. 7. To create the layer punch the edge of small piece of pattern paper. Layer the punched piece and coordinating piece of pattern paper to Twig cardstock. Adhere to inside of card.

8. Place calendar on the lower portion of the inside of the card.

9. Embellish front of card with bow and pearl brads.
